  • Turnout in small groups over our 40 acres.  This keeps your horse safe and the pastures healthy.

  • Pastures are separated by 16-foot aisles to eliminate interaction between fields and allow for riding around the farm.
  • Most of the fields are 3 board oak fencing but some are no-climb fence to keep out wild animals.
  • Automatic waterers are in most pastures.  All waterers are heated in the winter and cleaned regularly.
  • In spring and summer, fields are regularly mowed and fertilized with natural products to keep weeds down.  We do not use toxic herbicides or fertilizers due to their effect on the bay and the horses.
  • Fly predators are applied to the pastures and the barn in the spring and summer months.
  • Diatomaceous earth is applied to the manure pit to keep the fly population at a minimum.
  • In the fall and winter months, timothy round bales are fed to the larger groups.  Smaller groups are given square bales.
